Dan Porcaro has spent the past 25 years growing and developing companies. This is his passion.
From 1998 through 2012, Dan founded and ran Project Leadership Associates (PLA). PLA was a business and technology consulting firm headquartered in Chicago. PLA had five practice areas that include network integration, managed services, software development, business intelligence and business strategy. Starting from one employee, Dan grew PLA to 250 people, 50 million in revenue and 6 offices across the country. PLA was one of the most profitable, successful firms of its type in the country. PLA also had a ten year period where voluntary turnover was less than 2%. Additionally, Dan is proud to say that PLA never lost money in any month of its existence.
Prior to founding PLA, Dan was an equity partner in Workgroup Productivity Corporation (WPC). WPC was a Lotus Notes consulting firm. Dan was asked to join WPC to grow the firm, nationalize its services and find a buyer if possible. He accomplished the growth plan over a 3 year period and found a buyer for the firm. After this transaction, Dan left to start PLA.
Prior to WPC, Dan was an Executive Director at Lansystems. Headquartered out of NY, Lansystems was a nationwide network integration firm with an east coast and west coast presence. Dan started the central region for Lansystems and quickly grew it to 60 people and the most profitable region in the country for the firm.
Dave Stolarek brings 15 years of telecommunications experience and leadership to PSM.
Dave has held a variety of direct sales, leadership and executive positions. Most recently, he owned and operated d2 Consulting, Inc., a successful IT and infrastructure consulting company specializing in telecom expense management, network sourcing and cloud service integration.
Prior to opening d2 Consulting in 2013, Dave served as Senior Vice President of Global Sales for Chicago-based Inteliquent (formerly Neutral Tandem/Tinet). In this role, he was responsible for the company’s $70 million global data and IP transit business. This included sales, product development, customer support and sales engineering.
Before assuming the executive position at Inteliquent, Dave spent nearly 13 years at Global Crossing (now Level3). He worked in several leadership capacities and built strong partnerships with some of the world's largest consumers of IT and communications services.
Dave and his wife, Donna, of 19 years currently live in Frankfort, IL where they are raising their 4 children.
An IT Consulting and Business professional for 15 years, Mike spent the majority of his career with Project Leadership Associates (PLA).
At PLA, Mike was a Partner and National Practice Director of Managed Services, after working his way up from a Help Desk Consultant. In his many roles, Mike displayed business development success through direct networking/prospecting as well as building sales and marketing strategies and staff. He developed strong organizational development skills, centered on meshing people, processes and technologies to further the organization's mission.
Mike was instrumental in growing PLA’s Managed Services practice group from a small, local, consulting group into one of the largest national practices within the organization as well as the National MSP Marketplace. He has an established track record of executing growth strategies, exceeding revenue objectives, and building high performance teams.
Most Recently, Mike consulted for a National MSP to structure, enhance and refocus their SMB Operations.
Rather than leading a division for another large organization, Mike chose to take his knowledge and start a firm dedicated to company culture. The IT skillsets and Managed Services know-how are important, but building a company of like-minded employees that devote themselves to building strong, long lasting client relationships is equally important to Mike.
